John and his brother, Ralph were really good guys from our neighborhood, and Richard Montgomery High School. John Hovde, Stan Metta, Duane Evans, Bill Freeman, John Jakeway, Jay Holiday, Bob Neal, Tom Essex - we all knew him well as a forever smiling, happy and mischievous guy - the kind of guy that is good to remember.
